cheynew, as betabodies are just a cool idea at this point, I don't find their patent status of much importance. The real prize is Sunrise which appears to be moving quickly through Phase III.

Also, the Bavi preclinical collaborations are much more important in my view because they put Peregrine researchers in close contact with potential partners or acquirers of Peregrine.

Betabodies are barely more than a gleam in the eyes of the lab geeks at this point.
