There you have the paradox.
Why do you need a division commander (major general) doing the job of a company commander (captain)?
Wave is not that complex. There are many, many individual sales reps in hi-tech, selling to government, carrying quotas that far exceed the total revenue of Wave. They have a sales engineer, an inside sales person and a project manager. The project manager has a consulting staff to do the implementation. They all report to a district level (mid-level) manager. That's it. It's not rocket science. They prospect, close and implement.
The line of why would some one chose to go to "little struggling company-Wave" has been said for many years with many hires who have come and gone. Not a single one of them has had an impact other than taking shareholder money for their own purposes.
There better be deals associated with this hire, not excuses.
