Remember,usually, Chap 11 only wipes out shareholders if liabilities exceed assets.Which is the case in most BK's. I am convinced that the only reason for GT's filing was to rid itself of the Apple contracts,which they have done.The future possibilities for GT advanced Technologies include: A renegotiated contract with Apple,A separate course and new business pursuits without Apple,and,the very real possibility of a bidding war among potential buyers.I believe that a restructuring that eliminates current common shareholders,while possible,is the least likely of all the scenario's.The only thing that would cause a restructuring like that is if GTATQ failed to convince the judge that it could survive as a viable entity with the current share structure intact.Nothing is guaranteed.With that said,I still like our odds here.A lot.
