I am a certified diabetes educator and stumbled on this board because I am an investor in a different stock that I follow on IHub. I know Mannkind because of inhaled insulin. IMO, a successful inhaled insulin will need to have the same dosing flexibility as subQ insulin injections- we teach insulin:carb ratios and need to be able to match mealtime insulin as closely to carb intake as possible. If the dose is static, the carb intake needs to be static as well. This is a drawback of inhaled insulin thus far.
