SYFA Fall Conference Features Key Industry Leaders. The Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association's Fall Conference will have special presentation from Auggie Tantillo, president of the National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO), and Dr. James A. Hayward, CEO and president of Applied DNA Sciences. NCTO is considered the voice of the US domestic textile industry and Mr. Tantillo will be giving a report on the state of the industry as well as progress reports on pending trade agreements. Dr. Hayward's company was recently in the news with the announcement of a $3 million contract with the US Department of Defense to supply its counterfeit protection DNA marking technology to a host of new components destined for use by the military.
