Don't think it was a pump and dump either, but could someone have taken advantage of the imminent news to make some quick $?

Seems like we had a huge inflow of buyers in the AM, once they were gone, MMs got to work in bringing this baby down to 0% gain for the day.

I am new to all of this, but it just seems odd that a stock would run up and "consolidate" in a single day. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
