Interesting observation about "Banana Republic" yet its wrong. The parent company, with it's tradable stocks, is regulated under canadian law and all countries where it trades its stocks, rigth?, on the other hand, the subsidiaries that arent regulated by the so called "Banana Republic", have to report to its parent company that then have to file multiple reports to all canadian authorities involved and other jurisdiction where it trades.
Question is, where are those authorities and regulators? and more important where are those large portafolio investors that dont care for their penny stock?
