WOW, I see what you are saying that is in that article. If that is the case and that is what the FDA requires for success, then the FDA is MORE screwed up than I had previously thought. IMO if this trial shows no increase in sight, but the deterioration is halted and remains at that level for years, to me that is a WIN!! Ask the sufferers of this disease if they still would have the procedure to halt the disease even though recapture of sight lost would most likely not occur. I am SURE ALL would say YES!!. Are you kidding me - that is not a success??? Going more blind is the other option?? If its me, I am sticking that needle in my eye PRONTO! The success from the trials would be that medical profession now knows to administer the therapy at earliest detection and onset of the disease. I do not think that even FDA is that incompetent!
