What is preventng big companies from do what you suggest? Simple. Solar3 has been applying for more than just the final cell patent. They have filed for a number of small things along the way, each of them essential to making the final product. Therefore they have patent pending protection on each of those ingrediants making it riskey for others to duplicate.

Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it.
