SONC Sonic puts up the comp gain eludes McDonald's

Sonic (NASDAQ:SONC) reports same-store sales rose 4.6% during its FQ4.
The mark, which includes a 4.5% franchise drive-in comp and a 4.9% company-owned drive-in comp, stands out in comparison to the -3.3% tail-off McDonald's saw in the U.S.
Cost of company drive-in sales -150 bps to 81.9% during the period.
Total store count -4 to 3,518.
SONC +2.9% AH.
