What actually has higher risk: Using the AS system or losing 200 people per day (in the U.S.) because of HAI factors? Using the AS system or having hospital insurance premiums skyrocket because of worsening HAI related issues? Using the AS system or having the insurance company who insures the health care facility, against HAI related lawsuits, cancel the hospital's coverage because it won't take steps to eradicate the problem? It might take an ebola outbreak in Canada to get people's attention up there. One would think the success at Belleville would count......but......it's ONLY one real-life test. Who actually knows about the Belleville success story, BenK? I always have felt that members of this message board did a better AS marketing job than management, the BOD, and all the past and present PR people combined.
