C&N are NOT done here. There's a strategic play here and I think it it was smart to take a step back and create something sustainable with the format. My guess is that the subscription numbers were higher than people think leading them to think that with promotion and the right product they'll have sustained viewership.
Fact is the product side needed work... Why wear out your viewers with an average product. Why not take a step back and reassess and launch a product with a sustainable format that you can replicate for other talent? This is a total guess... But I wouldn't be surprised if they acknowledged both the potential of high interest in C&N shows as well as the need for a higher level of production. The second part could be where awesomenessTV comes in. They could be co-producing these shows in the future as they have a vested interest in their clients C&N as well as their share of the revenues for these shows.
