"...certainly CTT has created more doubts about the credibility of this treatment than your posts."???

Although I'm glad you appreciate that, no, not even CTTC can be blamed for creating "doubts about this treatment."

It was the inventor's idiotic CLAIMS about the device and CTTC's transmission of those claims to people who actually know neurophysiology that created ALL the "doubts."

Nonsensical, walking on water claims of greater than 95% pain relief in over 95% of the patients but ONLY when MISTER Marineo was around.

Idiotic claims of doing physically IMPOSSIBLE things like "scrambling" nerve signals and "artificial" neurons" "retraining" brains.

Granted, those were helped along by Dr. Campbell's randomized, blinded, controlled study that demonstrated the device NOT ONLY had NO EFFECT on pain, but that it's effect could NOT even be distinguished from that of a non-therapeutic "sham." But NO ONE would believe that those results were influenced by any insidious pharmaceutical "conspiracy."

THOSE were the sorts of things that shot calmare's credibility all to hell.

And, NO, the FDA did NOT "dispute" the "similitude" of ANYTHING. The device was evaluated as a TENS device. That is EXACTLY what it is -- a device that delivers low dose current to the skin. Indeed, CTTC included "scrambler" in the device's "proprietary name" as "Scrambler Therapy MC-5A TENS Device."

Any attempt to apply for approval for a "nerve signal scrambler" would likely have been met by demands for trials to prove safety and efficacy -- as well as howls of laughter -- by the FDA before CTTC would have allowed to market the thing.

The thing is simply STUPID! Get it? S-T-U-P-I-D!!! NOTHING can change that! NOTHING!

After SEVEN YEARS of WASTING TIME with the thing, you'd think CTTC would finally see the proverbial "handwriting on the wall"! But, no, I guess there's money to be made with the company's "stock" if not with its "product," so CTTC lingers!
