Ok good. I was not aware that there are any stocks not quoted electronically. Even though OTC stocks are quoted electronically those quotes don't really mean anything as they are treated differently with no obligation to fill them as I find out every time I complain about non fills.


"Our trading desk approached the market maker on your behalf regarding the buy orders for FPCG. Unfortunately with securities traded on the OTC specialists are not required to honor the best bid/ask. The response came back as orders ahead. As a result they are not filling the orders at this time, if the security price declines they may become actionable."


I suspect it is semantics and you are correct. I sure hope so. While OTC and Pink stocks are quoted electronically they are filled differently than listed stocks where as your broker contacts the market maker and requests a fill that may or may not happen regardless of what your bid is and what the ask is. As I have found out many times on the otc having a bid higher than the ask still doesnt guarantee a fill.
