Why in the world would the government be against keystroke encryption, as a matter of fact last fall, General Keith Alexander, NSA Director & Central Security Service Chief gave a presentation at a security conference which was on CSPAN. He talked about the future of internet security as keystroke encryption, so that the information a hacker gets are basically 0's and 1's, with nothing gained.
