That part was a little confusing. Here is something Panno shared regarding tribetarna....

First of all the UNSW researchers did not say that Tribetarna won't make it to the clinic for years or decades. This was a comment by the reporter and was made with regard to the general use of Tribetarna. Even so, "years" is still consistent with what I stated previously. The second point is that the official company announcement said that a "significant" increase in survival has been achieved. The story says these these results were promising but not as good as hoped. Assuming that the reporting was accurate, it still does not imply that the results were not efficacious. The comment simply means that the team would have liked them to have been even more efficacious.

As I said, I do agree that the wording in the story does raise some questions and it would be appropriate for Benitec to clarify this matter officially."


I personally believe that Panno is rig. I think Tribetarna works well, but maybe they were hoping for even better results...but that doesn't mean that the results were poor necessarily.
