they certainly have the money to do it, much like google and some of the US tech billionaires. I'm a skeptic as to it being a good idea...nothing to do with their core competancies, would be more fo them doing it because they can. feels like the wave of unrelated diversification acquisitions and and business ventures in the US that were later unwound
