Qualcomm: 160.65 million

Qualcomm reported nearly $5b in revenue last quarter from sales of equipment and services (this is not inclusive of royalty or licensing revenue) - not to mention 250M MSM chip shipments. So this would imply that tablet SoC revenue is only 3% of that business, with only 7.5M units?

Wow, I guess it adds up. Also shows how much the tablet market has slowed down.

With a TAM that small, the only motivation for spending a few billion dollars to buy entry into this market, is to get a beachhead into Qualcomm's much larger $5b phone biz. "Keeping ARM at bay" would still not be a good reason to tell shareholders where several billion dollars went.
