Doesn't a trader have to own shares before they can short them in this market?
Say the purchaser bought $190k worth of shares. Couldn't they then sell half of them and keep half as their collateral in case this ticker goes on an unexplained run or the company actually does something productive?
Maybe we're waiting on 65 million shares that were sold at .0016 to be re-bought here or lower. (Possibly trip 6s or 7s)
