when there is a float of over 600,000,000 shares and a daily trade of 700,000 to 5,000,000 shares - 0.1 to 1.0% traded and 99 to 99.9% held (rough estimates but close enough for government work) it is my opinion that the stock is thinly traded. There is a huge supply out there. Just look at some of the other companies out there which are in the AM space which have a much lower number of authorized shares and a greater volume traded each day and you will see how SGLB is thinly traded. For example, DDD has 15% (+ or -) the outstanding shares of SGLB and trades somewhere from 2 to 5 times the number of shares as SGLB daily, thus a relative daily trade of 12 to 30 times the percentage of outstanding shares traded each day. How is SGLB not a thinly traded stock when compared to another in the AM sector? In the past six months there has been ONE DAY where more than 1% of the outstanding shares were traded for SGLB!!

I do not care if you have been trading for 16 years. The math is the same, 16 years or 40 years of trading. Comparing "size" does not change the reality. In my over 40 years of investing, I have come to the conclusion that individual investors are virtually irrelevant to the stock. It is the institutions because they hold, buy and sell well north of 90% of the shares. SGLB does not have institiutional investors of consequence at the current time and until they do, it is going to be a thinly traded stock. Institutional investors get access that an individual investor can only dream about. When you see institutional investors starting to accumulate the pps will head north. When the institutional investors cut back on their holdings or get out, the pps craters. The individual investors who think that they can infuence the pps are like fleas on the back end of an elephant with strong amorous intentions on their mind, not of mutual consent (thanks c911 wink )It is either not going to happen or will not be noticed by the elephant. simple as that
