fpg: Intel is a 50 Billion dollar a year company...

In what world is 1 Billion "dear" to gain sockets?

The real world:

A) Intel mobile operating loss was > $1B last quarter,

and

B) Intel nets a paltry ~15%-20% of that $50B/year, i.e. each quarter it only nets ~$2.5B in profit.

I.e. Mobile took a 33% haircut off of Intel's profits last Q.

But I'm sure it will all get better soon...
