I always play closer to the money or in the money....so I bought WYNN 185 puts and also had 170 puts as well Friday and it dumped and hit 175 yesterday....well WYNN 185 puts I bought at around 2.00 and hit 8.95 and WYNN 170 cost .20 and hit a high of .70......to me I think buying closer to the money is better because if you buy 10 there it cost 2k but you made 7k in profit and with the 170s you'll never buy 2k worth of contracts at .20 you'll only buy at most probably 50...which makes you $$$ but it's a bigger risk because your so far out of the $$$...you probably wouldn't buy that many either so your return is smaller and premium erodes on the smallest of pops
