The real value of an investment in IDCC is and has been its ability to defend its patent portfolio. The investors are on the verge of discovering the answer to the real value very soon in DE.

Anyone who has been associated with IDCC over the last twenty years should be cautiously optimistic and extremely frustrated at the same time. The company continues to churn out patents each and every year while the legislative, executive and judicial branches of government seem hell bent on diminishing the value of patent portfolios of US companies and inventors. When IDCC first began licensing, a licensee was prohibited from challenging the patents of the licensor. My, how times and attitudes have changed toward inventors.

I am also a very frustrated shareholder. I have seen families break up over investments in IDCC. Yet, through it all, I have taken blow after blow to my expectations and anticipations of the return on my investment. One thing has remained constant however. I have never respected posts like yours this morning flippantly advising a frustrated long term shareholder to act in any way regarding his/her investment. The long term shareholder has paid his dues along the way and deserves more respect than a post like yours. Yeah, I know, I too am just a mouse click away.
