IMO, I personally do not see a one year per cohort timeline. Nothing I have seen yet has indicated that is the case. I personally think we may an increase in those wanting in the trial once efficacy is demonstrated...that's why I am very sceptical of a five year timeline....unless the post was saying from phase I all the way to phase III. That may be plausible, but we are so far from that, we just need allow the trial to move forward as is. We are talking about a very permanent DNA alteration. This is not your typical drug, and I think few are remembering this as the trial progresses. Perhaps as the trial does progress, the results may help speed up future phases. I even read compelling arguments for possibly moving straight into phase III after this trial. That would be awesome to see happen. Nobody has died, and unless someone has a one time cure for all genos hidden up their sleeve, benitec still has a spot in the market, and TT-034s success will likely give credibility to its other programs since a lot of it is based on the same tech platform.
