The industry currently (as of the last reported quarter) clearly has not adopted the product.
I don't think it is because it is a "product of the past", rather it may be a cost-benefit analysis. The product is very expensive to use in any quantity unless it provides an enormous benefit.
Looking at the composition, companies may believe there are more cost effective ways of accomplishing the same goals (paraffin reduction, tank cleaning, etc.) than a product that sells for $400/bbl (or whatever the exact number is).
