New FedEx/Wrightspeed article in Wired Magazine

http://www.wired.com/2014/09/fedex-wrightspeed-diesel-ev-trucks/

While it does not appear to have moved the stock in any way, this article is meaningful in two ways.

First, it's the first major media outlet to discuss Wrightspeed in a feature article, at least that I'm aware of. By major media I mean national distibution, millions of eyeballs that are likely to be reading it anyway, not just regional papers or trade specific literature.

Second, it's the first mention I've seen anywhere of the fact that FedEx has now ordered 25 units since DJ first mentioned it at the most recent CC. Given the rapid decline in his credibility of late (EBITDA breakeven when again?) it has been a source of concern for me that he said that yet until now it has gone uncorroborated by any other source.

There are a few things I wish I'd seen in this article.

I wish we knew where the first two FedEx trucks were deployed, how many hours they've got on them, and what kind of real world results are being reported as far as their actual recorded fuel economy.

I wish we knew the timetable for delivery and rollout of the 25 follow-on trucks for FedEx.

And I really wish the Wired article had mentioned Capstone by name! Seriously, WTF?
