Also, each year can accumulate more costs and debts which will add to not showing gain, so, hypothetically, it may never show profit.
Some companies like the advantage of showing no profit and a loss for tax purposes.
So as to any gain to be written or shown, may never happen.
That still doesn't mean they are not being paid something.

I'll throw this out to the LLC experts on the board.

Can the LLC pay employees? So, for example, could the Aqueous management team receive salaries from the LLC and have that be considered "costs"?

If so, then hypothetically Mr. Carter et al could receive remuneration from the results of Aqueous' operations, while FSNR does not show any revenue since there are no "profits".
