Imo the best way to get an idea of how things went is to pay attention to the questions Judge Casper may ask. Also pay attention to the case defense lawyers make for their client. If they are just throwing things to the wall to see if they stick you will probably be able to tell.

I remember Google's performance in the VRNG markman hearing was far from spectacular to even the untrained eye. Their performance in the trial itself was borderline laughable and almost insulting. Sad that they eventually won on appeal, but Google has far more political connections than World of Warcraft haha.
