Netflix is the most recent stock that has come through a phase like this...

Rode hard up to the $125ish/pps area, then crashed, before ripping up to $450 in 18 months. Go run a weekly chart for NFLX on stockcharts for a 3 year period. You'll see January's earnings in 2013 start the party.

Then, go run DDD, and you'll see the same price action. I, too, believe that January 2015 will be the official start of "my party", maybe sooner.

Again, this is all IMHO, so don't take my word for it.
