Isn't there something they could do to paint that at least once our way?

I guess I can understand reluctance to do that after all the Enron shenanigans, but still...quarter after quarter they come out and tell us how they're just too darn honorable to goose returns for short term influence on the stock. Just once I would like them to come out and do anything that actually does mean bottom line benefit for long term shareholders. I'm coming up on ten years here and I can count on the fingers of one hand the months I was in the black. Meanwhile plenty of day traders and swing traders who have no real interest in the company rake in profits by churning shares, and management behaves in a manner that benefits short sellers betting against the company at the expense of those of us who are truly invested. I've been defending management steadfastly this whole time up until just a few weeks ago but I can't deny my patience is wearing very thin at this point. Especially when I look at how slight the losses are and realize that bloated compensation could be trimmed just a little bit and we'd look positive. Those guys take home a paycheck every month no matter what, but those of us who have invested our own earnings to make that possible just keep sitting on more and more red ink.

Dammit Lucy, will you just hold the stupid football for once?
