Test swabbing and perforating as part of well completion are common
industry best practices. You don't perform these activities unless you are
rather sure there are hydrocarbons present.
These activities can be carried out in a couple of days
once the swabbing equipment and wire gun are on site along with the
needed infrastructure.
The point being this was not a dry hole!!!
