The explorers and juniors that fail to develop viable projects or fail to validate resources fall off during the rise of POG. It's the M&A process that brings in the $ and the pay days for these companies. Although the upside for explorers and juniors appears to be tied to POG it's not, it's an illusion and sales pitch to keep the retailers interested and buying shares through the dilutive funding business model.
Now it's different for the explorers and juniors that have done their job and found viable projects and/or proven resources, they will get their pay day. Should they buck the system and not abide by the M&A process they will rise and fall to a certain degree with POG but they will be heavily shorted and manipulated (guess by who).
The good ole boy club is alive and well, memberships are few and far between so don't be fooled.
