We will only know how effective it is as a future preventive after treating and curing Ebola infections.

I assume you are saying this is true for Ebolacide as well as any vaccine or other treatment? Or is this a case of NNVC's superpowers and not being held to the norms of science and common sense?

The contention that NNVC is better than a vaccine or treatment because your body will be infected and therefore build up antibodies against all forms of ebola is undermined by your further contention that ebolacide can be used prophylactically.

If used prophylactically, then there will be no antibodies produced and no immunity developed. If you are suggesting a lifelong, daily regiment of ebolacide, then this MIGHT make sense. But given the reality of the circumstances and locations and cultural issues, this is not at all practical. If we are going to play the game of what if, and your starting point is what if (when) it works, then there is no limit to what could be claimed. There are numerous examples of this already from NNVC management and others, including SP predictions that are so embarrassingly unrealistic, that they are really more sad than pathetic.

And please correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no possible way that treating primates in the wild will be admissible as "proof" of NNVC's safety and efficacy and therefore will advance ebolacide towards human testing.

Even for the unrealistic and nonsensical world of NNVC this is ludicrous.

Oh, and could you remind me again, where Dr. Seymour stayed last time he was in HI? THAT'S what matters!
