If this new management team is depending on inferring anything, they are in big trouble.

Stating a product is slated for 2015 is a bad way to gain confidence. That's a very wide timeframe and, infers absolutely nothing. PR'ing a LOI and then "inferring" that the "definitive agreement" was signed would be crap I hope the management team isn't doing. Anyone who counts on that needs their head examined.

If this is what people are basing decisions on, then nothing has changed from the old management. The same "investors" who believed in the Thailand floods would buy that method. You would think they have learned by now.
