TV, I proposed pursuing a type product a while back that may be a good fit for LQMT, before you were here in post #56746. Please reference that post and I will highlight some of the material in the quote below. This is just an example. I am sure there are many possible uses of Liquidmetal across the globe. Where those unique properties are a better fit.

Quote from post #56746.

"Now let's look at a real contender in the Crossbow sector where Liquidmetal Technology may benefit the consumers. Keep in mind this is the older model. The 410 is the best of the best, but this older model has key points in the description I would like to reference.

http://www.barnettcrossbows.com/products/crossbows/crossbows-carbon-lite/ghost-400

Keypoints in the description.

"Meet the all new Ghost with CRT (Carbon Riser Technology) by Barnett."

Now why couldn't Liquidmetal be in this? How would "all new "Liquidmetal Riser Technology" sound? And more.....

"Another pioneering first, Barnett has the only patent protected, ultralight, super strong Carbon riser available for Crossbows. The CRT Riser boasts an incredible 5 to 1 safety factor. Shooting scary fast arrow speeds, the Ghost also comes complete with Barnett's AVI technology molded over laminated limbs which reduces noise and vibration up to 30%."

This type of product is exactly where Liquidmetal Technology could be used. And expense don't matter. A Liquidmetal core in those limbs? Hmm. Does Liquidmetal have elasticity?

"The Aluminum flight track, CROSSWIRE Strings, and Whiplash Cams also provides a smoother, faster, quieter, and more precise shot in a compact fit."

Again..... Aluminum. How boring does that sound? Liquidmetal sounds way cooler. What about Liquidmetal Whiplash cams? Hello Steipp!

"With the ADF (Anti-Dry Fire) MIM (Metal Injection Molding) trigger system and 400 FPS speed the Ghost CRT is the crossbow to own!"

Metal injection molding? How about Genuine Licensed Liquidmetal Trigger Technology. Twice as stronger half the weight.

This is the kind of market where Liquidmetal might actually benefit the product and possibly enhance its performance and efficiency."

End quote.

Now, we all can understand why the unique properties of Liquidmetal's brand of amorphous alloy may be a good fit for Aerospace and Medical devices. We also know that Liquidmetal has been somewhat successfully marketed in sports equipment because of its unique properties. Corrosion resistant, strength to weight, it bounces etc. I on the other hand have been thinking about other areas where Liquidmetal might be a great fit. There are lots of possibilities where expense doesn't even matter. Think high end.

How about you mention at the shareholders meeting that even these smaller applications such as I suggested in the quotes above, albeit not a home run revenue generating sell, is something better than what they have now. And perhaps many smaller "Swatch" type contracts over time, will be much more beneficial than years of nothing trying to finally land a whale like Lockheed. And there isn't any law saying they can't pursue both.

Most mom and pops, want diversification. Want more smaller types of contracts and maybe a few larger. If they lose one it won't devastate their bottom line.

Just saying, my free opinions. FWIW.

Let's keep it civil and understand that this is a forum of mostly amateur opinions. I am not here to give advice or argue. The best way to get rid of trolls is by using the ignore feature. And if you don't like what I say feel free to ignore me. Thanx.
