Indeed - this is true:

I also am living in the short-term. However investment is best done with a relatively long time window. "Investing" for the short-term is gambling or trading, not investment in the classic sense of the word.

I am living / investing for the short term.

Find something undervalued,.... buy some of it,.... and wait for the market to figure out what you already knew,....

Sometimes that takes patience. Often that commodity is in short supply.
