From what I understand from listening to all the AAL conferences, all of this stuff about union agreements isn't necessarily a good thing. They have agreed mostly to the higher wage demands that will cut into profits. What they have done though different from the other airlines is not have a profit sharing. I am not sure how it will turn out in the long run but on the earnings end it will cut into profits. The appearance of them anyway since one (AAL) comes out of pocket before and one (Others)comes out after earnings. They will look better and we will look bad. IMO
