Evolution of secondary tumors. Those interested in changes in tumor cells as a evolutionary process and how such changes can affect treatment can start with a Google Scholar search using the terms "cancer metastasis evolution". The first article is on pancreatic cancer. Start here Dr. Chuck.
scholar.google.com/scholar?q=cancer+metastasis+evolution&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C15&as_ylo=2010

Yeah right. I notice you didn't bother to answer my question. Oh, sure, I'll just pony up $32 to read something which is the first of 99 further articles which in all likelihood, you are completely unfamiliar with.

First, and I have stated this before, I am not a specialist in immunology or human cancer research or human anything. Second, I do not lie--first principles as a scientist; your tone suggests that you might think that I am (fine, whatever)? I do know a lot about evolutionary biology and do teach aspects of cancer evolution as part of an advanced undergraduate course in evolution. I provided the link just to indicate the importance of evolutionary principles in basic cancer research. The abstracts for the articles are free and reading a dozen or more would give one at least an appreciation what is going on and the connections, which are very relevant to NW.
