Yeah, no mortgage, but that's interesting.
Right now, the Barclay black card is in the lead. I was looking at the AMEX black card, but check out the requirements for that!

Anyway, the Visa black card can be used for travel as well as just cash back or other benefits and it credits at 2 for 1, plus they promise to get you sporting tickets and into restaurants you normally cannot get. I wouldn't normally pay $450 for a card I can get for free, but with all the travel we are doing lately, it may be worth it to try for a year anyway.
We used to build up a lot more miles when our daughter was still in college, but by her junior year, they quit accepting credit card as payment anyway.
