Description
Member of the U.S. Afrezza Brand team, reporting to the U.S. Toujeo Commercial Lead. Responsible for developing and executing the U.S. Consumer Acquisition plans, including unbranded, branded and disease state awareness campaigns, engaging with patients’ advocates, online and offline patient communities and analyzing launch KPIs to determine areas to adjust, scale up, or reduce based on customer response. Will work closely with U.S. Afrezza Patient Support Lead to ensure synergies and alignment between patient support programs and campaigns / DTC plans.
DTC
Will be responsible for the strategy, design, execution and monitoring of consumer unbranded and branded promotional and educational programs. These will include broadcast media, in-office advertising and promotion, pharmacy programs, videos, search (paid and organic),display, and social media channels.
Patient Advocacy and Community Management,
Will be responsible to assist our CORPA department and Patients Advocacy Group to build and implement consumer marketing solutions and educational tools identified in our partnerships. Will also be responsible for developing and implement the community (online and offline) management.
Specific responsibilities will include
• Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible consumer communications
• Partner with the Consumer Agencies to develop strategies and deliver tactics and consumer media plans.
• Work closely with and manage outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute consumer projects
• Manage significant budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost effective delivery of all programs
• Work with market research to develop and execute research and measurement testing needed to develop programs and project and measure expected returns/success
• Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and integrate public relations consumer strategies and programs
This position will not be responsible for management of direct reports; however, it will require significant agency management, and cross-functional team leadership.
Qualifications
•Bachelors Degree is required
•Five - Seven years of product marketing or requisite experience, consumer or requisite experience preferred, launch experience preferred
•Must have prior experience managing consumer programs through direct to consumer teams and field sales teams.
•Deep understanding of external market dynamics with a priority on consumer trends
•Understanding of centers of excellence function with a focus on key aspects of the digital and multi-channel teams
•Comprehensive understanding of operational key performance indicators and consumer data sources for launch tracking
