If a court of law states someone need not be punished, how in the world are you expecting him to dole out something more. Case in point, Ray Rice is suspended, but still being paid. They don't want a lawsuit. Some punishment, huh?
Apparently you now want Goodell to determine how much of a physical attack warrants what punishment? What if he used an open hand? Same punishment or more? What if he used a brick?
And lastly, lets say a woman in your workplace claims you hit her. Should you immediately be fired without a legal proceeding?
