I understand their plant can be classified as hemp but they (the Stanley's) are not using only the legal parts of the plant under the exception to the definition of MJ under the Controlled substance act, therefore, it would still be considered marijuana, also they are using domestically grown plants, also illegal. Also, they are shipping out of Colorado violating Colorado cannabis laws. Where RSHO may be in a grey area, the Stanley's are clearly illegal. Will the Fes shut them down? Don't know. But the Feds stated they will only turn a blind eye as long as people are not violating state MJ laws and shipping an MJ product out of Colorado is violating Colorado law and the feds may not take too kindly to that.

I wish them luck. If they are helping people, God bless, but they are taking a huge gamble.

Hempmeds is using legally grown imported hemp and only from the parts of the cannabis plant exempt from the definition of marijuana under the CSA.

Another tidbit, the .3% THC only applies to the plants that can be grown for hemp and not the limit on the amount of THC found in products made from those plants.
