Yes, but not that many people make official whistleblower reports. The form is a pain to fill out, and that's probably intentional. Even so, they do have problems with at least one nutcase: a person who's submitted a very large number of requests for compensation. Evidently the "information" provided had nothing to do with the cases in question.

And so the SEC has cut him or her off from having future submissions considered.
