Good luck to them shipping across state lines CBD extracted from the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant which are not exempt from the Controlled substance act under the definition of Marijuana from federally illegally grown domestic cannabis plants. Even if their plants fit the definition of cannabis varieties that can be classified as industrial hemp, it is still illegal to use domestically grown plants to make hemp products and use the flowers and leaves to make the products. Only products made from seeds and stalks from imported hemp are exempt from the definition of marijuana under the US controlled substance act. Also, they will be violating Colorado laws shipping out of state a medical marijuana product. So, not only would they be violating federal law, they would be violating Colorado state laws. And As I am sure you are aware, the feds stated they would turn a blind eye as long as they comply with state laws in regards to medical and recreational MJ, and this obviously isn't.

Only hemp based products that are derived from imported hemp made from the seeds and stalks of the cannabis are legal to sell in the US.

HempmedsPX products are made from legally imported hemp and only from the parts of the plant exempt from the definition of marijuana under the CSA.

(16) The term "marihuana" means all parts of the plant Cannabis sativa L., whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. Such term does not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom), fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.
