Yes, there have been the remnants of two hurricanes and an abnormally active monsoon. Lots of rain in both Tucson and Phoenix, and I seem to remember seeing some water rescues on TV in the Wickenburg area a few weeks ago. Tucson dodged the bullet yesterday, never got the 3-5 inches of rain they were worried about.

Shouldn't be a problem for Joel - after all, anybody that can chip 200,000 tons off the hillside with an excavator wouldn't let a little rain bother him.
