It started growingly slowly in the back of my head that the final rule publication may possibly extend into later part of this year or 2015 after looking at other proposed rules and their current states on the project status page.

Some rules which are in task E stage were proposed in Jan 2013. They are still awaiting final rule publication.

If our rule is queued up along with others, wouldnt it take more time(rather NOT soon) for the final rule to come out ? unless the great guys at FDA understand the seriousness of the widespread prevalence opiate epedemic ?

Or will it be prioritized based on reports like the one came from the FDA commissioner in MD ?(simsonly pointed this out)

Since I do not have any knowledge on the internal procedures of FDA, I can not speculate much on this.

I leave it to the masters here to comment..
