That's a terrible idea!

northstar should have put the time and energy in to making their own MJ product

MDIN was smart to partner with Kush instead of going it alone.
As stated in a press release, the deal is "designed to help insulate Northstar from the unknowns associated with the massive amount of laws and regulations surrounding the medical and recreational marijuana industry."

MDIN absolutely did the right thing by partnering with a leader in the industry. Kush has experience dealing with the laws surrounding MJ in different states, as well as the manufacturing and distribution channels. If you're going to have a partner, why not chose one of the best?
Before this the only experience MDIN had with psychoactive drugs was Nick's personal knowledge - he HAD TO HAVE BEEN HIGH AS A KITE when he wrote the 2013 pro forma and many of the subsequent PRs and tweets!

First off, marijuana is still illegal under Federal law. Therefore growers, dispensaries, manufacturers, suppliers, banks and customers are all at risk of seizure and prosecution if the Feds decide to flex their muscles. By simply licensing Snorenz to Kush, who then adds the "illegal" ingredients to the product under their name, MDIN's exposure to prosecution is virtually nil or nil.
I had previously expressed concern for MDIN getting into the pot business because it put all the company's assets at risk, which meant shareholders could lose their money, so I was relieved to see the company had isolated itself from this threat.

Unfortunately I just don't believe there's gonna be much demand for a tiny, $40 bottle of anti-snoring/throat spray. I think ANAS will be more successful with their 5 Hour High product. Looks like Ray saved the good ideas for ANAS, and gave MDIN the junk (like a seaweed bar that sounds like poison).

Did anyone else notice in the latest shareholder letter that Justin said

Snorenz Medicated officially launched and will be available in many dispensaries in the very near future. I'm very excited about the idea that people all over Washington State will be able to go to their local dispensary and buy it.

He singled out WA state, so I started wondering if Kush is selling products to Colorado dispensaries. I spent about 20 minutes searching and didn't find a single Kush product for sale in CO. I was surprised because I thought Kush has been selling to Colorado too. I'm going to email Kush and ask when they expect to be doing business there.
