After He passed away,
a long time member of his band called his home and innocently asked his wife (Marie) if "Buddy was home?"

Sadly, she replied, "No, Buddy died two weeks ago."

He apologized, but two weeks later he called once again with the same question.

"Oh no," she answered "he passed away!"

On calling for a third time a week later, the fellow asked again, "Is Buddy at home?"

Angered, Marie replied, "No, I told you twice already, Buddy is dead!"

He said "I know; I just like hearing it!"
