Home Depot, I have been trying to find out from Home Depot exactly why the 3 pack of 1000+ was discontinued and this is a copy of the last email I sent them and their reply. Now if anyone really believes that the 3 pack was discontinued because of a database communication problem or because of an MSRP description they would defend Eric if he said he was the Messiah and he could walk on water. If it was an MSRP description that could have been easily fixed and the single bottle will have the same exact chemical contents as the 3 pack. As I said from the beginning I believe it's more likely a sales problem especially now that HOME DPOT, NOT ERic, has decided to replace it with the single bottle.

Please let me explain the situation again. The Home depot web site shows that 1000 stain remover, model #204216, Internet # 202661295 has been discontinued but the company that makes the product says that it isn't discontinued and that it's an IT problem. This is their reply.
"There is an erroneous message at www.HomeDepot.com that 1000+ Stain Remover has been discontinued. The product has NOT been discontinued. Personnel at Home Depot are working on the correction of this error. The problem appears to be IT related.
It seems that chemical compliance data did not migrate properly between two databases, which caused an automatically generated (false) message of discontinuation in the product availability database."

Could you please tell me if this statement is accurate or if it has indeed been deleted and it's not just a database problem and why it has been deleted?
It seems that if it were just a database problem it would have been corrected by now.
Thanks again for your time.

Hello XXXX,
Thank you for contacting The Home Depot Online Customer Support again. I understand that you would like to know why it was discontinued.
Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any details as to exactly why we no longer carry that product but I am inclined to believe that it was related to the item's sales.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to respond to this e-mail. Thank you for being a valued Home Depot customer. We look forward to your continued business.

Sincerely,
Darrius M
