The FTSE was the first to go in regard to open outcry. It was the writing on the wall. Not many saw it, but it was the begining of the end.

The way stocks are traded these days is near criminal.

Note when the minimum variation went to .01. From 1/16ths FROM 1/8ths, It was to improve investors chances of getting a better price. We all know with the lack of real market makers, the quote opens wide... and gap she does.... I would have gone to prison for making a market similar to current conditions.

Anyhow...

There are countless examples of useless companies selling their useless junk to useless people.
